With your shield or on it 🛡
Impact of strong sentences, The science of nerdiness, 1987 Apple Ad and many more...
Hey Guys,
How are you doing this week?
4 Things I thought worth sharing with y’all
1. Strong sentences.
I’ve been researching and finding more sentences that are strong and positive in nature
Few examples:
Family First ❤️
In This Together 🙌
With your shield or on it (More about this in a minute)
Be Kind 💙
Every community’s saying or greeting (Jai Sri Ram, May god be with you, Asalam Walekum, Jai Jinendra, etc)
Sports team taglines (Coaches & Captains say it before the match)
Movie & TV series lines:
- This is the way (Mandolorian)
- Wakanda Forever (Black Panther) RIP Chadwick Boseman
- May the force be with you (Star Wars)
- Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer (The Godfather Part II, 1974)
Now why are we talking about this…
My goal is to find or create a sentence that’s extremely strong and impactful the moment you hear it.
Every time you come across the sentence there should be a blood rush,
the feeling of you being a part of something,
someone’s got your back, LEZGOOOOO 💯
If you know any let me know below
Just imagine meeting someone and at the end of the conversation you say bye to each other by saying
IN THIS TOGETHER
That feeling when you know someone got your back 🚀
Now let’s talk about the heading of this newsletter
2) With your shield or on it
Most probably we all came across this for the first time in the movie 300
A spartan woman saying this line to her King, Husband, Soldier and father of her son.
She didn’t cry, didn’t mourn even though she knew she’s looking at him for the last time.
Now the facts may not be exactly right from the movie about did it happen or not and the whole history is a different newsletter altogether.
What was going inside his head when he heard this?
My lady saying these words to me before a battle.
I NEED TO GIVE MY EVERYTHING
DO or DIE
Just like this in our lives, we are fighting battles every day
We may not see the enemy or the future consequences, we need to go all out.
Remember, With your shield or on it
