Essay of the week

I was checking out the old website of 37signals and found this interesting blog called Breadcrumbs. I clicked and realised we don’t thank the people who showed us the way enough.

I’m not sure you remember the breadcrumbs story but let me share it quickly.

Breadcrumbs is a famous fairy tale of Hansel and Gretel. In the story, the children break off pieces of bread to leave a trail they can follow to get back home. That way they can follow their trail back through the dark forest and not get lost.

Just like this we also have people in our lives who show us the way.

The world is huge and its easy to get lost. People who came before us left their knowledge and learnings in breadcrumbs.
