The year was 2008, and India had just won the first-ever T20 world cup.

Dhoni was the captain of India and the very next year IPL started and he was the captain of CSK too.

First year, they went to the final and that match was 16 years ago.

This was also the time when I fell in love with the game called cricket. It was love at first sight.

Cricket became my safe space. A place that pauses time.

I hope you have something like cricket in your life too. It brings the whole world together for me.

CSK won its 5th cup this year and this may be the final year before Dhoni retires.
