5 Different ways to look at TIME ❤️
New perspectives, Steve Jobs and an engineer, 2021 re-read list and many more
Hi 👋 Prado here
3 Things I thought worth sharing with y’all
1. Different perspectives
There are many different ways to look at life and time as a whole and today I’ll about 5 small ways here. Let’s get started
I created an extensive video version of this newsletter (Trust me you’ll love the editing)
1. TIME BILLIONAIRE
This is something I’ve spoken before in one of my previous newsletters (Click here to read)
The idea is understanding the difference between one million and one billion
So anyone who has a couple of weeks to live is a time millionaire
and anyone who has 32+ plus years to live is a time billionaire.
We are all born billionaires 🎉
We don’t really look at life and time like this, do we?
Warren Buffett asks you this question:-
I will give you 5 Billion dollars... in return, you give me the next 5 years of your life?
Would you do it?
2. The Tail End
One of my fav blogs ever. Written by Tim Urban from Waitbutwhy.com
he talks about how much time do we left in the world and he compares his time with various events boiling down to one thing.
RELATIONSHIPS.
Especially relationships with our parents.
He shares that before he joined university... he already used up 93% of his in-person parent time. I’m now enjoying the last 5% of that time. We’re in the tail end.
Here’s the solution:- 0
3. IN-TIME movie
I’m pretty sure you have already seen the movie… but watch it again. Few important time lessons can be learned. (Wiki)
4. Steve Jobs Speech
Watch it… that’s all I can say.
5. Learning to live alone
6. {Bonus} Spend time
Conclusion
When journalists ask billionaires "What is their dream?" and they expect an answer related to wealth... but they answered this
"To be the oldest person in the world"
